The B’s once again take the national stage!
The national broadcast schedule has once again reared it’s head, and a flight of everyone’s complaints about broadcast bias accompanies it!
The Bruins announced today their national broadcast schedule; which features 8 games on ESPN platforms, and 6 games on Turner Networks. The schedule shakes out like this:
- Tuesday, October 8: @ Florida, 7 p.m. ET (ESPN/ESPN+)
- Wednesday, October 16: @ Colorado, 9:30 p.m. ET (TNT)
- Friday, November 29: vs. Pittsburgh, 6:30 p.m. ET (TNT)
- Tuesday, December 3: vs. Detroit, 7 p.m. ET (ESPN+)
- Wednesday, December 4: @ Chicago, 7:30 p.m. ET (TNT)
- Saturday, January 11: @ Florida, 1 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN+)
- Saturday, February 1: vs. NYR, 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN+)
- Wednesday, February 5: @ NYR, 7 p.m. ET (TNT)
- Saturday, February 8: vs. Vegas, 3:30 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN+)
- Saturday, March 1: @ Pittsburgh, 3 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN+)
- Sunday, March 2: @ Minnesota, 3:30 p.m. ET (TNT)
- Saturday, March 8: @ Tampa Bay, 3 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN+)
- Saturday, March 29: @ Detroit, 8 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN+)
- Sunday, April 13: @ Pittsburgh, 3:30 p.m. ET (TNT)
The rest of the games are, as always, on NESN and NESN+.
The Bruins will also have some game times changed, as the Preds game on October 22nd, The Devils game on November 29th, and the Devils game on January 22nd have all been moved to earlier in the day.
Personally, I’m more excited for the TNT panel and production, but I’m more than willing to give ESPN the chance to improve themselves. You only get better with practice, after all.
As for what they can practice? Keep an eye on SCoC; I’ll have a thing about that soon enough.
Otherwise? Get ready for yet more Boston Bruins!
