A new season is upon us!
With training camp set to begin tomorrow, the Bruins released their camp roster this evening — and no, Jeremy Swayman isn’t on it.
(To be fair, there’s a note at the beginning of the release that reads: “Please note that the roster and schedule are subject to change.” ARE THEY TRYING TO TELL US SOMETHING?)
Here’s who will be attending camp:
Bruins 2024 training camp forwards
Joey Abate, John Beecher, Justin Brazeau, Patrick Brown, Charlie Coyle, Riley Duran, John Farinacci, Trent Frederic, Morgan Geekie, Brett Harrison, Tyler Johnson, Max Jones, Mark Kastelic, Cole Koepke, Trevor Kuntar, Vinni Lettieri, Elias Lindholm, Fabian Lysell, Brad Marchand, Marc McLaughlin, Georgii Merkulov, Jaxon Nelson, David Pastrnak, Matt Poitras, Riley Tufte, Jeffrey Viel, Pavel Zacha
Bruins 2024 training camp defensemen
Drew Bavaro, Frederic Brunet, Michael Callahan, Brandon Carlo, Jackson Edward, Loke Johansson, Hampus Lindholm, Mason Lohrei, Ryan Mast, Charlie McAvoy, Mason Millman, Ian Mitchell, Jordan Oesterle, Andrew Peeke, Alec Regula, Billy Sweezey, Parker Wotherspoon, Nikita Zadorov
Bruins 2024 training camp goalies
Ryan Bischel, Brandon Bussi, Michael DiPietro, Joonas Korpisalo, Nolan Maier
Camp will technically begin tomorrow (September 18), but it’s for off-ice stuff only — there’s no practice.
However, GM Don Sweeney and coach Jim Montgomery will meet the media around noon, so…I wonder what they’ll be asked about?
There will be split-squad practices at Warrior Arena on Thursday and Friday, followed by the Black & Gold Scrimmage at 1 PM on Friday at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, home of the Providence Bruins.
No word yet on whether or not the scrimmage will be streamed, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up streamed on the B’s website. NO HITTING OR SLAPSHOTS ALLOWED, PLEASE.
The preseason begins on Sunday, with a visit from the New York Rangers.
That game will be broadcast on NESN and 98.5 The Sports Hub.
Get stoked, the new season is here!
