Outdoors, this time for the Stadium Series.
The Bruins are going back outside!
After a brief hiatus from outdoor games, the NHL announced today that the Bruins will travel to Tampa Bay to face the Lightning at Raymond James Stadium on February 1, 2026.
The game will be part of the Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series, not the Winter Classic.
This will be the sixth time the B’s play an outdoor game, but the first time participating in the Stadium Series.
Raymond James Stadium is home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so this will be the third time the Bruins play in a football stadium (Gillette Stadium and Notre Dame Stadium).
In terms of the venue itself, this is probably the least inspiring setting for a Bruins outdoor game, though having a pirate ship on site is pretty cool.
Thoughts? Cool to be outside again or are you kind of over the outdoor games at this point?
