The Bruins pick up some depth while casually blowing the minds of their entire fanbase
The B’s may be done for now but they’re actually taking IN players as well as shipping them out.
Darren Dreger of TSN reported that a late trade call may have had the Sabres send defender Henri Jokiharju to the Bruins for an unknown return, which was revealed to be a 2026 4th Round Pick:
If it got done in time Buff sends Jokiharju to Boston.

Jokiharju has been largely a 3rd pairing defender for Buffalo this season, and was originally sent to the Sabres for Alex Nylander in 2019 as part of a trade. Since then, he’s been an acceptable depth defender who has generally come in with about 15 to 19 points to his name each year.
One would imagine Jokiharju is going to see plenty of playing time, as the Bruins have moved on from Brandon Carlo today.
As for how he’ll do in Sacco’s system? Well, we’ll see.
Let’s all welcome Henri to the Boston Bruins!
