Not here, though.
Welcome to a new week, folks!
It was 60+ degrees Fahrenheit in Boston on Sunday, so…what a time to be alive.
The Bruins did their part to give you a decent weekend, beating the Arizona Coyotes 5-3 in a Saturday matinée.
While a win is a win, that win came at a cost, with Pavel Zacha leaving with an upper-body injury. Jim Montgomery noted post-game that he expected to know more today, so…stay tuned.
While the Bruins’ weekend was relatively benign, there was chaos in other games in the NHL — namely in the form of revenge.
First, David Perron crosschecked Artem Zub in the face after Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin was injured by a completely different Ottawa Senators player:
Scary scene as Dylan Larkin lays motionless after a headshot from Joseph… he ends being helped off the ice. Hope he’s okay.

Perron was offered an in-person hearing, which he has elected to have virtually, so…yeah. He’ll be (deservedly) out for a while.
Then, on Sunday, Erik Gudbranson got hit from behind by Nick Cousins, then decided to bide his time before striking back:

In the words of Doc Emerick, “myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy goodness!”
Lots of chaos to go around this weekend.
The Senators ended up beating the Red Wings convincingly, while the Blue Jackets lost to the Panthers (also convincingly).
Revenge, etc.
What’s on tap for today?
