Igor Shesterkin is the projected starter for the Rangers, but always check social media before locking in a fantasy starter. The Blueshirts having seemingly turning things around with points in their last 10 games. This includes seven victories in that span. New York will be rested, but Colorado will be motivated to break its mini-skid.

We have a Central Division matchup between the Minnesota Wild and Chicago Blackhawks in the second game of today’s NHL predictions. The Wild are looking to clinch the season-series in this one. Filip Gustavsson is likely to get the start with the Wild playing the night before. Minnesota is struggling, but Mats Zuccarello has four goals and nine assists over the last 10 games.
Petr Mrazek is the expected starter for Chicago, which is 3-4-3 and has lost two straight games. The Hawks have seemingly punted on this season after dealing Taylor Hall to the Carolina Hurricanes. Tyler Bertuzzi has been a bright spot with 17 goals and 10 assists for the Blackhawks.
Minnesota could get Kirill Kaprizov back soon and that would be a big boost. However, the Wild should take this one.
Prediction: Wild win 4-2.
