Game notes
- This will be the first meeting of the season against a New York team that finished in last place last year but is starting off strong this year.
- Frankel had a weirdly fluky goal pop in last time out and then allowed one more tally with Minnesota barraging her throughout the game. The Fleet will need to do more to reduce high danger scoring opportunities for their opponents.
- The penalty kill has been solid for Boston so far. They were 3/3 and even were the aggressor on the second time out. Their extra attacker has continued to be a struggle. Last game they only got one opportunity, a minor, after Alina Mueller was taken out of the game, the penalized player would later be suspended indicating this should have been a major.
- Speaking of Mueller we do onto expect to see her dress in the near future, the question is who takes the roster spot. The favorite to get the nod is former Blades player and Pride Captain Jillian Dempsey, but Kelly Babstock his a viable option if GM Marner wants to go there.
