Game notes
- Boston is prone to slow starts and it almost bit them last game. All eyes will be on Boston to get their first shot well before the 7th minute of the game.
- After talking up both goalies for the last week both of them had human performances. While both made spectacular saves both goalies would like a few of the ones that got by them back.
- While Minnesota came out the hotter team by the time the third rolled around Boston was able to grind them down relying on stout defense and clutch saves by Frankel.
- Heise left little doubt of her scoring abilities last game as she buried two second period goals, that on a normal Boston performance likely would’ve been enough for a victory.
- Among the traded players booth Jaques and Tapani looked good but it was Tapani that got the first goal of the game for Boston.
- Rattray was featured on the third line while Gabel saw plenty of 4th line minutes. If Boston can continue to roll four talented lines they will be tough to beat.
- All eyes will be on Hannah Brandt’s stick as it scored two crucial goals for Boston last game after she loaned it to Wenczkowski.
