After getting their first points of the season Boston now looks to take their first regulation win, once again on the road.
Just the facts
When: Today, 7:00 PM
Where: Mattamy Athletic Center, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
How to follow: NESN, NESN 360, PWHL YouTube (Out of Market)
Know your enemy
- Sarah Nurse, Blair Turnbull, Kali Flanagan: Toronto went heavy on Team Canada stars which makes sense with their coaching staff. All of them are capable of a big breakout so Boston will do well to keep them contained.
- Kristen Campbell, Carly Jackson, Erica Howe: Toronto has some good names in the goalie stable but they have been unable to keep opponents at bay, allowing 14 goals in 4 games. They are due for a big game so we will see if the Boston offense can solve them.
Game notes
- Boston is the only team so far without a regulation win and currently stand in last place with only 2 points.
- This is Toronto’s third home game, losing the previous two on a 9-1 aggregate.
- Toronto won their second game, a rematch at New York (Bridgeport, CT), but have not registered a point since.
- The league has not published lines yet but we will update this article when they do.
- We expect to see Emma Soderberg make her debut tonight.
