Al Horford and the Boston Celtics have agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $20 million. With the new extension, Horford will remain with Boston through the 2024-25 season.
Horford is on the final season of the four-year deal that he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2019. After one year with the Sixers, Horford was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. After one year in Oklahoma City, Boston reacquired Horford in a trade that sent Kemba Walker and a first-round pick to the Thunder.
