Bill Belichick is no longer coaching in New England, but he’s still keeping tabs on the local teams.
Belichick is at TD Garden Thursday night for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers.
He’s got pretty good seats, too. The cameras caught a glimpse of the longtime Patriots head coach sitting in a suite with former Celtics coach and current president of basketball operations Brad Stevens.
Probably a lot of knowledge being passed back and forth between these two.

Since parting ways with the Patriots in January, we’ve seen Belichick as part of ESPN’s NFL Draft coverage and making an appearance at Tom Brady’s roast.
This fall, he’ll be a regular contributor on “ManningCast” with Peyton and Eli Manning during Monday Night Football.
“The idea is for Bill to be a permanent guest on every ManningCast show, probably early in the games around first quarter to help take people around the ropes and show them what defenses have to do or what the quarterback’s challenges are,” Peyton explained of Belichick’s upcoming role.
Getting back to tonight’s game. The Celtics snatched an overtime victory form the jaws of defeat in Game 1 Tuesday night, and they currently lead the Pacers 57-51 at intermission of Game 2.
You can catch the second half of Celtics-Pacers on ESPN.
