Boston Celtics majority owner and team Governor Wyc Grousbeck is selling his share of the storied ball club. But not without first letting Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens sign or extend several key (and insanely expensive) players like Jayson Tatum and Derrick White.
Tatum in particular has signed the most lucrative deal in NBA history, and White returns on a fairly team-friendly contract. Backup big man Xavier Tillman Sr. brings it back on a two-year minimum contract, and a number of other Boston players have also signed new deals to return to the team for their looming 2024-25 campaign.
The hosts of the CLNS Media “First to the Floor” podcast, Jake Issenberg, Ben Vallis, and Wayne Spooney, took a closer look at a very busy week on a recent episode. Check it out below!
