The Washington Wizards, Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers are in strong talks on a trade involving Kristaps Porzingis and Malcolm Brogdon.
Porzingis would be traded to the Celtics, while Brogdon would be acquired by the Clippers in the scenario. Porzingis would pick up his $36 million player option as part of the trade. Boston would also include Danilo Gallinari and his $6.8 million contract to make the trade work.
The Clippers would send out Marcus Morris and the No. 30 pick in Thursday’s draft as part of the trade.
The Celtics have looked to balance out their roster this offseason after having a surplus of guards.
