Star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum is not only one of the best players in the NBA, he’s also a candy entrepreneur, philanthropist, spokesperson, and now author. The St. Louis native took to Twitter / X to announce that he has co-authored a book with Johns Hopkins faculty and author Sam Apple called “Baby Dunks-a-lot: A Picture Book.”
“Proud to share “Baby Dunks-a-Lot” cowritten by me and (Sam Apple).,” tweeted Tatum of his new literary foray with Apple. “Deuce and I read together all the time, so this is something I’ve loved working on. Hope y’all laugh at this one with us.”
Described as a “laugh-out-loud picture book” that “is the story of what happens when a tot becomes an NBA teammate,” even a quick glance reveals what might capture the mind of Deuce or any child his age.
