Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown isn’t ready to walk away from his beef with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.
Brown’s rivalry with Smith has been going on since this year’s Eastern Conference finals.
After Brown scored 40 points in Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers, Smith read a text from a source that said people don’t like the All-Star because of his ego.
“It’s not so much that he’s underrated, it’s that he’s just not liked because of his, ‘I am better than you,’ attitude,” Smith said. “He knows it. It’s the same reason he is not as marketable as he should be. That’s what an NBA source just sent me.”
That same day, Brown called out Smith on social media. He told the charismatic ESPN personality, “State your source.”
Well, Brown showed up to the championship parade this Friday in a shirt that had this phrase on the front: “State your source.”

The ball is back in Smith’s court. We’ll see if he finally lets this go or decides to fire back.
At this point though, Brown probably won’t be bothered by whatever Smith says next.
Brown was named Finals MVP after averaging 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. He’s literally on top of the mountain right now.
