The Boston Celtics look to start a seven-game home stand out with a win to build on their recent momentum vs. the Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, and Houston Rockets after dropping a game to the Denver Nuggets.
They will have to beat one of the Western Conference’s best ball clubs in order to do it as the Clips are currently third in the Western Conference standings and the winners of eight of their last 10 games. They will also have to do it without star Boston big man Kristaps Porzingis, who will sit out the game while healing from a sprained ankle he hurt vs. the Heat earlier this week.
The Celtics should win this game if they treat Los Angeles with the respect such a good team deserves, but if Paul George is able to play, even a little slippage could be enough to cost Boston the win.
