The Boston Celtics hold a 2-0 series lead over the Dallas Mavericks as the series shifts to Texas for Game 3 of the 2024 NBA Finals. But injuries are starting to pile up for both ball clubs, including a rare but potentially impactful one picked up by star Boston big man Kristaps Porzingis in Game 2 at TD Garden this past Sunday (June 9) evening.
The Celtics should be able to win this road tilt against the Mavs even if Porzingis has to sit. But they will need their best play from everyone taking the court to match the desperation of Dallas trying to avoid a historically insurmountable 0-3 series deficit.
This might be the most critical game for the Celtics all season long, so buckle up, because it’s going to get intense.
