The Brooklyn Nets may not be the juggernaut the Boston Celtics tussled with in the Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant era. But they are still a solid ball club that can beat a good team if they don’t play well on any given night.
Will the Celtics play down to their opponent as they start their away-and-home, back-to-back series with Brooklyn at Barclays Center on Tuesday night? We doubt Boston will play with their food in either of these contests, but with All-Star Week looming just after, it is certainly not out of the question that the Celtics may play distracted, either.
We expect a solid, businesslike win for Boston, but keep an eye on body language early.
