“I didn’t see the flagrant,” Mosley said at morning shootaround ahead of Wednesday’s Game 2 at TD Garden. “Two guys were going for the block and I think it was just the fall [that] was probably what set it off more than anything.” Tatum (right wrist) remained listed as doubtful throughout the afternoon because of a bone bruise on his shooting hand that came from the bad fall. “It’s playoff basketball,” Mosley said. “And I don’t think that warranted what it was.”

Jayson Tatum is not shooting at his regular time slot with Jaylen Brown. Probably a sign he’s sitting out. #Celtics #Magic – 5:49 PM

Mosley on Tatum’s potential absence: “He’s such an unbelievable scoring threat. Other guys pick up the slack … usually it’s Al Horford who gets the nod there.” – 5:36 PM

Nothing illuminating on Jayson Tatum (bruised rt. wrist) from Joe Mazzulla just now. Reiterates the injury report — that he’s doubtful for tonight v. Orlando. Adds that he’s doing everything to get back and that he’s day to day. – 5:20 PM

New podcast premiering momentarily on YouTube … why the Celtics should be okay if Jayson Tatum misses time in this series vs. Orlando. Hear from Al Hoford on Payton Pritchard on the “extra” from Orlando on that foul. Also, Pritchard is 6MOY!

Going to record my podcast soon. My take that I’ll spend a lot of time on is that if there’s ever a series where missing Jayson Tatum is okay, this is the one. – 7:20 PM

My latest for @orlandosports: With Celtics’ Jayson Tatum in limbo, minor tweaks could add up for #Magic in crucial Game 2:
“If we can limit our turnovers, get more possession on the offensive end, we’ll be great and get more shots up,” KCP said.

“Looking back at it, that momentum shift in the third quarter was big,” #Magic coach Jamahl Mosley said about the film from Game 1 at Boston. “Us being deliberate and intentional in some of our defensive communication pieces … [We] had a couple mishaps.”
