The Boston Celtics have signed rookie power forward Anton Watson to a two way deal, and now the Celtics find all three of their two way roster slots filled as a result of the signing. The Gonzaga alum will find himself making the trip to Portland, Maine this coming 2024-25 NBA season plenty, and will be joined by two way Boston point guard JD Davison and two way Celtics forward Drew Peterson.
And while they will likely see more burn with the Maine Celtics than the parent club (especially earlier in the campaign), Watson has a shot to earn himself some spot minuted with the parent club this season. The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took a closer look at the signing on a recent episode.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about Watson signing with Boston.
