The Boston Celtics needed a bounce back win against the Phoenix Suns after dropping a road game to the Denver Nuggets, and they got it on Saturday night. In a tilt the outcome of which was never in doubt with a 117-107 win against a Suns squad that never led by more than 4 points, Boston came away with a victory.
The Celtics would hold the Suns to just 29.0% from beyond the arc at Footprint Center, and with superior ball movement and control, outclassed a team many saw as a potential title favorite before the start of the NBA’s 2023-24 season.
