Let’s be honest, this game was an excellent excuse to celebrate the Hall of Fame career of celebrated Boston Celtics broadcaster Mike Gorman. There was a game against the Washington Wizards that the Celtics ###, but the star of the day was the man who the City of Boston feted as well as the fans and the team itself.
And while there were not nearly enough photos to honor a man of his magnitude, there were a fair amount of the arena and game as well. Boston won the game 132-122 to close the NBA’s 2023-24 season for the Celtics.
