The Boston Celtics are handling their business thus far in this 2024 offseason. They took care of Jayson Tatum by agreeing to a long-term contract with him and now they will take care of a bench piece to keep their depth intact for the upcoming season.
After taking care of Luke Kornet at the outset of free agency, the Celtics will now take care of Xavier Tillman Sr. to keep him in the fold on a two-year deal. He was acquired in a deadline trade from the Memphis Grizzlies and averaged 4.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 20 games after the trade. He played eight games in the playoffs as Boston was able to bring home the title.
