A torrid first quarter from Kristaps Porzingis powered the Celtics to a double-digit lead they would never relinquish in a 107-89 victory in Game 1.
Porzingis tallied 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting, six rebounds, and 3 blocks. Jaylen Brown went for 22 points on 7-for-12 shooting, 6rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks.
Luka Doncic scored 30 points on 12-for-26 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds. PJ Washington scored 14 points on 5-for-11 shooting and secured eight rebounds.
