Their recent losses to the Cleveland Cavaliers and reigning NBA champion Denver Nuggets aside, the Boston Celtics are having a historically good 2023-24 campaign. Not only do they have the best record in the league’s Eastern Conference, they have a near-stranglehold on the best record in the Association so far this season, with a 7.5-game lead for the former and a 4.5-game lead for the latter.
On top of that, they have been beating the bulk of their opponents by such a wide margin that in terms of scoring dominance, the Celtics could finish this season as a top-five ball club of the last decade.
