With Joel Embiid’s return to the court after a two month recovery from a meniscus injury having happened with Embiid looking good on the court, are the Philadelphia 76ers the Boston Celtics‘ biggest threat in the NBA’s Eastern Conference Playoffs?
While he was still clearly not fully in game shape after the long absence (and understandably so) he also did not look limited by the surgery that he had on his problem knee in the Sixers’ recent win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Could the 76ers actually challenge the Celtics in a first-round playoff series, if they end up so matched up?
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, Chiney Ogwumike and Kendrick Perkins joined Malika Andrews on a recent episode of the “NBA Countdown” show to talk it over, and Windhorst in particular is intrigued by such a potential series matchup. Check it out below.
