Curtis: What an exciting end to the regular season. Grayson James led the BC offense to another successful outing and the Eagles won yet another game against a bowl-eligible ACC team. For me the biggest thing that has been jumping out is the emergence of Reed Harris as a vertical threat in the passing game. Now that he has a QB that can sling it deep, Harris has made some incredible downfield grabs that have really opened up this Boston College offense. I’m really hoping he sticks around the program, because he has the potential to have some really special games on the Heights.
Curran: Reed Harris could be special. You can’t teach 6’5, and he’s a redshirt freshman(!). I’ll be interested to see if Lewis Bond comes back — he’s spent four years in the program but can return for his redshirt if he wants. In general, BC certainly has found some pieces to build around on both sides of the ball. Defensively, all of Carter Davis, KP Price, Max Tucker, Amari Jackson, Davion Crouch, and Quintayvious Hutchins could be in line to return. How well O’Brien is able to maintain his roster will be very, very interesting.
Niraj: Let’s go! What a great time to be an Eagle. I’ll shout out Donovan Ezeiruaku who finishes as the nation’s sack leader. He tied Harold Landry with the most sacks in a single season for BC. One more game to make up a little more ground for the all time school record. What an absolute beast.
Four Grayson James games, 28+ points in each. This season is already a success, and an elusive 8th win would be everything
Kieran: Yeah I don’t think Ezeiruaku has gotten the praise he’s deserved this season. He was a monster on the defensive line and I shudder to think what the defense might have looked like without him. I’m also excited to see BC get a chance to win eight games. (They haven’t won that many games since I was in elementary school…)
