On Monday morning, Boston College guard Chas Kelley announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal.
A 3-star prospect out of Houston, Texas in the 2022 class, Kelley earned playing time immediately as a freshman as the team’s backup point guard. This past season, he stepped into more of a leadership role as a returning junior for a team that featured a lot of new faces. Over his three years at BC, he provided numerous memories — from his dagger 3 to seal a win over St. John’s in 2023, or his last-second buzzer beater to beat FSU this season.
Kelley becomes the fourth Eagle to enter the portal, after Elijah Strong, Josh Beadle, and Dion Brown. The lone point guard still on the roster is rising sophomore Luka Toews.
Thank you, Chas, and good luck at your next stop!
