Name: Teddy Stiga
Position: Forward
Year: Freshman
Number: 4
Height: 5-10
Hometown: Sudbury, MA
Drafted: Selected by the Nashville Predators in the second round (55th overall) in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft
Prior to BC: Stiga spent the last two seasons playing with the USNTDP. He skated with the under-18 team last year and put up some big numbers, scoring 36 goals and adding 43 assists for a total of 79 points in 61 games. He was also part of the Under-18 US World Juniors Team, where he put up 11 points in six games while earning a silver medal.
Season Outlook: Stiga is going to be an important part of team’s forward depth in the 2024-25 season. It looks like he’s going to be a part of the third line and his presence should add some much needed scoring depth. Stiga is a player who can be a real difference maker as a freshman if he can hit the ground running, and one that fans should be excited to see over the next few years.
Fun Fact: Stiga will be the first forward to wear #4 in more than two decades, as it has traditionally gone to a defenseman in recent history.
