Last Season: Gustafsson followed up a nice freshman season with another solid showing in his year. He skated in all 41 games, putting up 3 points and 13 assists while playing an important role in what as a very strong BC defense.
Season Outlook: Gustafsson has been a rock solid part of BC’s blue line for the past two seasons and there’s no reason to think that will be stopping any time soon. He’s a solid skater who can move the puck well and really started to chip in with some offense at the end of last season, picking up six assists in his final eight games. Gustafsson is just an a good all around player for the Eagles and one that they can comfortably rely on on a nightly basis.
Fun Fact: Lukas’ father won a national championship in 1999 while playing for Hockey East rival Maine.
