PREVIEW:
Before the winter break, the Warriors were 5-10-1, tallying wins against Minnesota State, Alaska-Anchorage, and a sweep of UConn. Coming into this matchup against the Eagles, Merrimack tallied two more wins in early January against Army and Dartmouth, the latter of which has been having a great season in the ECAC.
Junior defenseman Zach Bookman leads the Warriors with 10 points in 18 games, followed by freshman Caedan Fitzpatrick and sophomore Seamus Powell (BC captain Eamon Powell’s younger brother!) who both have 8 points this season. In net, all four goalies on the roster have gotten playing time, but it looks like freshman Max Lundgren and junior Nils Wallstrom are splitting some time, with Lundgren having 12 games under his belt and Wallstrom with 6. Lundgren has a .898 save percentage, while Wallstrom has a .861.
