PREVIEW:
Northeastern’s been having a bit of a tough start to their season, going 3-7-1 in their first 11 games and 0-7-0 in Hockey East play. Entering this matchup, however, the Huskies offense exploded for a 9-2 win against RPI last Sunday — after a seven game stretch in which the Huskies offense couldn’t score more than 2 goals and were wracked with injuries. Northeastern always brings their A-game against BC and are coming into this weekend on a high note, so this should be a good series.
On offense, the Huskies are led by senior Alex Campbell, who has 11 points in 11 games and sophomore Cam Lund who has 10 points in 11 games. Four players — Justin Hryckowian, Campbell, Jack Williams, and Hunter McDonald — are scoring at a point per game or more. In net, freshman Cameron Whitehead looks to be stepping into Devon Levi’s shoes as the starter, and has a .898 save percentage and a 2.79 GAA in 10 games.
As always, go Eags!
