NOTRE DAME PREVIEW:
The Fighting Irish are 7-4-2 to start the season, and are currently third in the Big Ten standings. Other than splitting two shootouts with Penn State, Notre Dame has lost games to RIT, Clarkson, BU, and Minnesota, earning splits with everyone but the Tigers.
On offense, senior Landon Slaggert leads the Fighting Irish with 13 points in 13 games, followed by freshman Danny Nelson who has 11 points in 13 games. In net, grad student Ryan Bischel has started all three games and has a .936 save percentage with a 2.08 GAA.
HARVARD PREVIEW:
The Crimson have only played 5 games this year, but are 1-1-3, earning their only win against #16/17 Cornell two weekends ago.
Four players are tied for the team lead in scoring, with freshman Ben MacDonald and sophomores Joe Miller, Ryan Healey, and Philip Tresca each having four points in five games. Sophomore Aku Koskenvuo and senior Derek Mullahy look to be splitting starts, with Koskenvuo having a slightly better save percentage of .919 while Mullahy is sporting a .906.
Both games will be good tests for BC, as they wrap up their non conference slate for this half of the season. Go Eagles!
