The Huskies are 5-5-1 to start the season, and 2-4-1 in Hockey East play. They started the season with a sweep of Colgate, and then went onto earn weekend splits with UMass, Vermont and Holy Cross so far, while being swept by Merrimack and losing their first matchup to BU.
Sophomore Jake Richard leads the Huskies in scoring with nine points in nine games, followed by sophomore Joey Muldowney who has eight points in 11. Junior Jake Percival leads the team in goals with six. In net, junior Tyler Muszelik — a UNH transfer — has started 10 of UConn’s 11 games, and has a .894 save percentage with a 2.66 GAA.
