PREVIEW:
The Eagles have already taken on the River Hawks twice this season, going 1-0-1 in the matchups back in December. Since then, the River Hawks have gone 3-3-1, losing twice to Maine and once to Stonehill, going 1-0-1 against top-10 Providence, and winning the Cactus Cup with games against Michigan Tech and Omaha.
On offense, junior Scott Truman and senior Owen Cole are tied for the team lead with 15 points in 23 games. In net, senior Beni Halasz has a .929 save percentage in 11 games, while grad Henry Welsch has a .895 in 14. The Eagles faced Halasz in both matchups in December, so it’s likely they will face him again on Friday night.
