Garwo is a long-time Eagle and the biggest transfer portal entry yet for BC. He was a Steve Addazio recruit that played sparingly in his first two seasons, but broke out in 2021 with a 1,000+ yard season that earned him 2nd-team All-ACC honors. Running behind Zion Johnson and Christian Mahogany’s offensive line, Garwo was a star player for that BC team and could’ve really taken the Eagles to a great place if QB Phil Jurkovec hadn’t been injured at the start of the year.
A depleted offensive line in 2022 sent Garwo back down to Earth, though, and this year he split a lot of time and missed a bunch of games due to injury. With one year of eligibility left, Pat will look to make an impact somewhere else as a grad transfer. We wish him the best of luck!
