Coleman is the second BC RB to announce his decision to transfer after longtime Eagle Pat Garwo III did so earlier this week. Coleman came to Boston College as a 3-star prospect out of high school, but never really saw the field in any consistent capacity. His speed and elusiveness were much talked about after he rrived on campus, and he had some chances to show off his skills in the running game and in kick returns, but never really caught on as a full-time starter. He finally earned his first touchdown as an Eagle this season, but otherwise was limited to just six total carries in the 2023 campaign. With offers out of high school from Pitt, UConn, Rutgers, and others, he is sure to draw some interest in the transfer portal.
We wish Xavier all the best!
