Fowler was a rock solid presence in net for Boston College all year as the Eagles finished the regular season with the #1 overall team and the #2 overall defense. Those lofty rankings were in large part due to Fowler’s outstanding play, as he posted a .940 save percentage in 35 games, good for the third best in the country.
Fowler made so many memorable plays in net for BC these past two seasons. The one that has stuck with me the most is this save against BU in the 2024 Hockey East championship game:
Earlier this month, Fowler signed an entry-level contract with the Montreal Canadiens, confirming his departure to the NHL. Thank you, Fowls!
