It has now been widely reported that UCLA head coach Chip Kelly is flirting with jobs other than the one he currently has.
Kelly reportedly interviewed for the offensive coordinator position with the Las Vegas Raiders and is under consideration for the same role with the Washington Commanders.
Additionally, The Inside Zone’s Matt Fortuna told his X/Twitter followers to “keep an eye on” Kelly for the head coaching vacancy at Boston College.
BC is looking for a replacement for Jeff Hafley, who left the program after four seasons to become the new defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers.

Kelly, 60, is a New Hampshire native and University of New Hampshire alum who was an assistant coach at his alma mater in 1992 and from 1994-2006 before becoming the head coach at the University of Oregon.
It’s possible he is looking for a fresh start period, and if it can’t happen in the NFL, Kelly is amenable to moving across the country to take over another college football program.
Kelly has spent the last six seasons at UCLA, going 35-34 with three straight bowl appearances in the last three years.
