Draft season is kicking into full swing with the invites to this year’s NFL Combine going out today. This year, 329 players were invited to the scouting event, among them a few Eagles who’s names have been coming up several times over the past couple months (and will continue to do so).
C Drew Kendall
OL Ozzy Trapilo
DE Donovan Ezeiruaku
DT Cam Horsley
Ozzy and Drew join 48 other offensive lineman. Trapilo participated most recently in the Senior Bowl while Kendall played in the East-West Shrine Bowl. Both acquitted themselves well in those practices. Trapilo finished strong after an up and down start by a few accounts. They’ll be hoping to follow their former line-mates Christian Mahogany and Zion Johnson these past few years and might get a bit of a leg up thanks to how those to have done early in their pro careers. Their former coach Doug Marone moving over to the Patriots certainly helps too.
Donovan and Cam had the same participation, respectively. Ezeiruaku continued to shine and climb up draft boards. Teams worried about his size saw great bend all week of practices. Horsley showed off his power and was given chops on some interviews.
