This morning, Boston College received a commitment from Kristian Kostadinski.
Kostadinski, a 6’6 defenseman from Göteborg, Sweden, was drafted 220th overall by the NHL Bruins in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. He joins a number of Bruins prospects at BC.
Kostadinski is currently set to play next season for the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the USHL, which is where Greg Brown coached prior to returning to BC. Previously he has played for teams in his home country of Sweden, including the Swedish junior teams.
Kostadinski is known for being a defensive defenseman, and will add some good size and physicality to the BC defensive unit. He also should be good for a few points each season, especially in terms of assists.
