Let’s shore up that secondary!
On Friday afternoon, Ohio State defensive back Ryan Turner announced his intention to transfer to Boston College.

Turner was at Ohio State for two seasons, but didn’t see much game action recording only 3 tackles and 1 sack across 5 total games. He was a 3-star recruit coming out of high school in Hollywood, FL, but wasn’t able to break through an Ohio State roster that has an abundance of talent.
Now he’ll come to Chestnut Hill to play for BC, who had serious depth issues in the defensive backfield last season once Elijah Jones went out for the year. The BC secondary had multiple games where they completely fell apart and let the other team pass all over them, so any addition of a quality player like Turner is a good get for this BC defense. Turner could find himself with a lot of playing time in 2024, something he did not get at Ohio State.
Welcome to the Heights, Ryan!
