Boston College looks to start another win streak as they take on Holy Cross at home on Friday night.
Who: Holy Cross (2-7) vs. Boston College Eagles (6-3)
When: Friday, December 8th at 7 pm EST
Where: Conte Forum, Chestnut Hill, MA
How to Watch: The game will be broadcast on ACCNX/ESPN+
The Holy Cross Crusaders come to Conte Forum after a bumpy start to their season. The Crusaders have only won 2 games to start this year, but one of those wins was at Georgetown. However, that win may have more to say about Georgetown’s lack of strength than Holy Cross’s good form. The bright spot for the Crusaders this season has been Senior guard Joe Octave. Octave has been averaging just shy of 16 points per game this year and scored a career high 33 points at Georgetown. It’ll be interesting to see who the Eagles matchup against Octave as he does have a height advantage on Jaeden Zackery. I would think they’ll assign Octave to Prince Aligbe, who is arguably the team’s best defender next to Zackery. Quinten Post should be able to impose his will on the Crusaders’ defense and continue his impressive season. We’ll see if Claudell Harris, Jr. will suit up for tomorrow night’s game as Earl Grant mentioned his injury was nothing serious. If the Eagles play even close to the same caliber of game they played against Central Connecticut, this should be another win for Boston College.
Prediction: Boston College 87 — Holy Cross 62
