The New England Patriots will have some important decisions ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.
Like every losing team, they are receiving calls from a multitude of teams hoping to catch an early Black Friday sale on NFL talent. It would be foolish for the team not to do its due diligence and at least listen to every trade offer.
With that said, every player on the roster brought up in trade talks should not be available. More importantly, the Patriots should be entering with the mindset of being buyers more so than just selling off the team.
Rookie Drake Maye has established himself as the future franchise face of the team, and the Patriots need to ensure the necessary talent is on the roster to give the team a chance to compete right now.
