The New England Patriots are reportedly hiring former Tennessee Titans defensive assistant Clinton McMillan to join their coaching staff, according to Mass Live’s Mark Daniels.
Last season, McMillan worked as the assistant defensive line coach/pass rush specialist with the Titans.
He started as an outside linebackers coach with the Titans in 2021 before moving to the defensive line in 2022. Keep in mind, Patriots defensive coordinator Terrell Williams was the defensive line coach for the Titans during that time. So he already has experience working with McMillan.
It has been a complete coaching overhaul for the Patriots with Vrabel assembling his coaching staff. That has opened the door for some new and familiar faces in New England.
Most of the hires on the coaching staff have worked with Vrabel before in some capacity. Patriots fans are hoping it will make for a more cohesive and successful product once the 2025 season rolls around.
