It’s safe to say that Bill Belichick really, really, really doesn’t want to talk about the latest reports of him being fired.
During today’s press conference, Belichick was asked repeatedly about his coaching future in the organization. But no matter how many times or different ways the question was asked, the response was the same.
“We’re getting ready for Kansas City,” he said, referring to the team’s game against the Chiefs this weekend.
It’s hardly a surprising response given that Belichick has always been loathe to talk about anything other than things related to the next game. Fans still respect Belichick for being a master of not saying anything:

“Bill Belichick should teach a class on how to say nothing, people would learn so much!” one user replied.
“lol bill awsome,” another wrote.
“Classique Bill Belichick!” wrote a third.
There are only four weeks left to the season though and the Patriots are not in playoff contention anymore. So if Belichick is going to make some final push to stay as the head coach, it had better come soon.
No NFL owner’s patience is endless.
