Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has made a change to his final press conference for Week 18.
Belichick was set to have an in-person press conference this Friday. That’ll no longer be the case. It was just announced that he’ll speak to the media in a video call.
Why would Belichick change the setting for this Friday’s press conference? Well, it sounds like he’s under the weather.
“If there was an injury report for coaches, it might read something like this today: Bill Belichick (illness) — full participation,” ESPN’s Mike Reiss said. “My belief is that is the reason for the change to the video conference.”

This Sunday’s game against the Jets could be Belichick’s last as the head coach of the Patriots. There have been plenty of rumors about his future in New England.
It would be fitting if Belichick hands the Jets another loss before he parts ways with the Patriots.
Kickoff for the Jets-Patriots game is at 1 p.m. ET.
