Bill Belichick is never one to tip his hand and the Patriots head coach predictably kept things tight-lipped when asked about April’s draft.
During his regular weekly appearance on “The Greg Hill Show,” Belichick was asked about whether or not he’s going into the week’s season finale vs. the Jets with an eye on the draft.
As one can imagine, he didn’t bite: “I’m committed to the team I’m coaching right now, the players that are here,” he said. “They deserve my best every day and that’s what I’m gonna give them.”
“If I was going to do anything I’d put it out there on Twitter and MyFace”

The Patriots are all but guaranteed a top-three pick if they lose to New York on Sunday and currently sit in that No. 3 spot entering Week 18.
Belichick’s future in New England is a big question mark going into the upcoming draft, given the Pats’ struggles since Tom Brady and their whiffs in the draft dating back a decade.
We’ll see what ultimately happens but its not off the board that Jan. 7 is the final game Belichick coaches as a Patriot at Gillette Stadium.
