This upcoming NFL season will mark the first time since 1974 that Bill Belichick won’t be coaching in some shape or form. That won’t keep him away from the gridiron though.
Belichick, 72, is spending this weekend at the Manning Passing Academy. It’s unclear if he’s just observing or if he’ll help out as an advisor.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz shared a few photos of Belichick giving Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe pointers at the Manning Passing Academy.
Milroe had 2,834 passing yards, 23 touchdown passes and six interceptions for the Crimson Tide last season. He also had 531 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground.
Obviously, it wouldn’t hurt for Milroe to get some advice from Belichick. He’s seen a thing or two over the course of his legendary career.

Even though Belichick won’t coach this NFL season, he’ll cover the league as a recurring guest on ESPN’s “Manningcast.” That means we’ll get to see him interact with Eli and Peyton Manning on a weekly basis.
Once the 2024 season comes to an end, Belichick could potentially interview with teams for a coaching position. Of course, that’s only if he wants to return to the sidelines.
It’s possible that Belichick ends up being a natural on TV. After all, he was pretty great covering the NFL Draft on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
