During an appearance on “The Greg Hill Show” this Tuesday, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was asked if he’d like public support from team owner Robert Kraft.
Unsurprisingly, Belichick said he’s focused on the Patriots’ upcoming opponent.
“Yeah, my job is to get the team ready to play every week that’s what I do,” Belichick said. “That’s what I’m going to keep doing. That’s what I’ve always done.”
Belichick was also asked about the New York Jets publicly voicing their support for head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas.
Once again, Belichick said his focus is on the Buffalo Bills.
“I don’t really know anything about the Jets situation. I don’t know anything about that, so [going] to get ready for Buffalo here. Go back over the Denver game, make some corrections on that and talk about things we could have done better, things we need to build on, and then move on to Buffalo. That’s what I’m doing.”
Bill Belichick addresses the silence of Robert Kraft during rumors of his job security being at risk.
Would he want a public endorsement from Robert Kraft?

There have been a plethora of reports about Belichick and the Patriots going their separate ways this offseason. Some believe they’ll mutually part ways, others believe a trade will go down.
Either way, there hasn’t been any chatter about Belichick sticking around. And obviously, the six-time Super Bowl champion isn’t in the mood to comment on his future in New England.
